Thank you for the presentation. I have been in the HVAC field for over two decades and did not realize the potential job possibilities. It is great to learn about the job options in the propane industry and our students now have some great networking opportunities through the GeneratioNext Propane Pros web portal.

I want to thank GeneratioNext Propane Pros for taking the opportunity and time to help inform and mentor the students in our program the propane industry and providing yet another avenue for them to see what employment opportunities lay ahead within the propane industry. Your informative presentation will help guide the next workforce generation along a path very much needed by the HVAC trade industry. The programs support solidifies the valuable connection between industry and education.

GeneratioNext Propane Pros presented opportunities in the propane industry with my students. The meeting was very educational and explained the numerous opportunities that are available after the students graduate. The students also commented on how they learned the career opportunities nationwide. The presentation was very beneficial and informative.

The North Carolina Propane Gas Association’s career presentation allowed our students to consider options outside of the traditional residential and commercial HVAC industry. The benefits and growth opportunities available through careers in the propane industry had our students talking after the presentation. Students get excited when they learn about the need for skilled workers and the demand for their services. Having another potential pathway to choose from when making that career decision adds to students’ sense of security and stability. Time well spent!

Utilizing their CDL in the propane industry seems like a great option for many of our students, especially those who want to be home at night. ways that students could connect with employers offering good jobs at propane and HVAC companies. It is good to see industries reaching out to vocational students this way. Employment with a good company where you can continue to grow and learn after official trade school can be the most daunting part of a career journey in the trades. Ms. Wilson and the propane companies in the Southeast Propane Alliance shared the propane industry’s career strategy to the students, as many were not aware of job openings and progression possibilities within the industry. After the presentation, several students were looking at the website for possible local job opportunities.
