Propane Service Technician

Propane appliance/equipment Technician performs preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot and service of residential,commercial and industrial propane systems. Propane Technician performs tests and analysis of data to assure the proper functioning of equipment and provide recommendations as appropriate. Understands control operation, and sequence of operation for residential, commercial and industrial systems. Must be well organized and keep accurate service and maintenance records. Works as a leader, has strong communication skills and is able to foster strong relationships with customers, vendors and team members. Follows all propane & electrical safety standards and procedures, Utilizes multiple trade skills such as gas plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other skills as needed to solve maintenance problems. Maintains properties by self-performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - · Install & replacement equipment and parts per manufacturers specifications to honor manufacturers warranties; complete appliance preventive maintenance in accordance with established standards; troubleshoot, Analyze and repair equipment malfunctions in accordance with established standards · Performs minor gas plumbing maintenance on existing & new systems. Performs safety inspections of propane systems · Complete documentation, including but not limited to, work orders, timesheets, expense reports, service reports and purchases. · Conduct general tasks including, but not limited to, safety training, group meetings and maintaining tools and vehicle
